Ingileif Friðriksdóttir is an Icelandic author, artist and activist based in Reykjavík.

Her debut novel, Ljósbrot, was released in May 2024. She has also written three children’s books with her wife, María Rut Kristinsdóttir.

Ingileif has worked on multiple TV projects as a producer, director and host. She is also a vocal human rights activist in Iceland.
