Margot Page is a writer, a sometime-traveler, and a Pacific Northwest native who remembers what the region felt like before Microsoft, Starbucks, and Amazon.
Margot’s work has recently appeared in The New York Times, Brain, Child and the Huffington Post. She is the creator of the popular “Dear Drudgery” column on the Brain, Mother blog and writes about Pope Francis, among other topics, for the Mamalode magazine web site. Paradise Imperfect: An American Family’s Move to the Mountains of Costa Rica is her debut memoir.
