This exhibition of contemporary photographs is a homage to the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, currently celebrating its centenary. The presented selection bears witness to the changes in the city's landscapes and in the people inhabiting its houses. The fronts of the houses change during social changes. The city's skies reflect various moods, at times frantic and dramatic, at others surrounded by soft light passages. In some photographs the lens moves away, spreading out a panoramic view of a huge metropolis in which people almost get lost; in others, the camera moves forward and lingers, for example, on a group of youngsters gathering on a narrow railing by a zebra crossing as if it were their home.
