It's New Year's Eve. But for Angel Jordan the night is much more than just dawning of a new year; it's the dawning of a whole new life for both himself and his family. As a millionaire and as the head of the most powerful drug crew the city has ever seen, he has decided to leave the game behind for good. All he wants to do this New Year's Eve is celebrate with his crew one last time before leaving but he has no idea that on this particular night his crew, the only family he has ever known, have plans for him of their own.
Out of fear that their boss has grown soft, Angel's crew lure him to a dark abandoned building. Once there, they mercilessly inflict on him the harshest betrayal he could ever imagine, one he could have NEVER seen coming. In the bitter cold shadows of that building they tie him to a chair, shoot him in the head, and set his body on fire.
Left for dead, Angel manages to survive the betrayal but just barely and with disfiguring scars he'll carry for the rest of his life. As he lies in his hospital bed covered from head to toe in excruciating third degree burns, his handsome looks taken away forever, he's forced to come to grips with the fact that his world has changed drastically. But more importantly, he's forced to come to grips with the fact that letting the people who did this to him walk away is NOT an option.
Dead set on revenge, Angel decides that simply killing each of his betrayers is to easy; mere death is a blessing they don't deserve. Wanting them to know what unbearable pain and disfigurement feels like, one by one he insures that they all pay with more than just their lives.
