Maggie Lemon has been trying to have a baby with her slightly boring, pretentious husband Mungo Lemon (Le Mon, actually) for five years. She’s followed dozens of diets and recommendations from countless fertility specialists but still the baby room at the top of her house remains achingly empty. But when she receives the news that her estranged aunt has died, leaving her hotel in Provence to Maggie in her will, everything changes. Handsome Hollywood actor, Gray Hudson, is hiding out at the hotel after being chased by the world’s paparazzi. Maggie and Gray form an unlikely bond, grappling with the choices that they’ve made and how their life has changed from what they expected, or rather, where they’ve been made to feel they should be at.
