A love written in the stars… and rewritten by a curse.

My friends know I’m an angel. I never told them the full truth. Cast from the ranks, doomed to spend my eternity on Earth, and that’s not even the worst of it. Orion, the only man I ever loved, died at my own hand. I tried to hide his soul in the stars to keep him safe, but fate—and Apollo—had other plans.

Jealous of my enduring love for a mere mortal, Apollo cursed us to meet again and again. Each time my wings grow back, I know we’re due to cross paths. Though I recognize Orion on sight, he has no memories of me. What little time we have together always ends in him dying yet another brutal death.

Now in modern-day Chicago, our futures once again collide. This time there is an added twist—my love has fallen in with the vampires. Orion craves the immortality they can offer, but I know such a gift comes with a price.
