Honestly, I wouldn’t expect hockey players to come to a small town like Arcadian Falls, much less to end up rescued by one in a bar on a Friday night.

He pretends I’m his girlfriend to get a trio of jerks to back off. I don’t even know who he is at first, but the jerks definitely recognize him. Since I’m supposedly his girlfriend, I end up spending the rest of the evening with him and his friends, inadvertently saving him from being the third wheel to the two other couples.
