He visits Miss Strict, a dominatrix, regularly.
On one of his visits, Miss Strict and Honey, another dominatrix, say they have been paid by an unknown woman to hang him from the gallows in their dungeon.
He narrowly escapes being hanged by Miss Strict and Honey, but falls into the clutches of two other lethal women, Jane and Modesty.
Honey goes missing and Sexton is accused of her murder.
He flees to the Continent with Jane and Modesty.
But is captured in Germany by Gerda, an over-sexed police woman, and tortured by her and her Gestapo-trained mother.
Back in England, he escapes from police custody, and goes on the run to find out if Honey is dead, and if she is dead, who killed her and why.
And also to unmask the woman who wanted him hanged.
