When the CIA’s top negotiator Edwin Travis is captured by pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine, deep cover specialist Marc Portman — the Watchman — is called in to get him out.

But what was meant to be a routine mission quickly spirals when someone leaks Portman’s position to their enemies.

With limited resources and his only lifeline, a novice comms officer in Langley, Portman must rely on his training and instincts to get Travis to safety.
