When the kiss ended, Brooke’s whole world was spinning. She couldn’t think of what to do or say. The revenge plot was already becoming lost in her conscious thought as she was so overwhelmed by what was happening and with all these feelings she had not expected to return so strongly. She certainly didn’t object when he picked her up as if she weighed nothing and set her back down toward the middle of the bed.
