Sexy, funny couple Amanda and Des are embarking on married life and parenthood. They've gone through so much to be together, including being tested by a long distance relationship. Now they've finally achieved their goal of the Happily Ever After.

Amanda, has given up her homeland and career, and loves her new job at an art museum. In Dublin, Amanda couldn't shake the feeling she was being followed. Personal items had gone missing and new things began appearing in the baby’s pram. Convincing Des his beloved Dublin may not be the best place to raise children they find a house in the country.

Owning a piece of her adopted land cements Amanda's sense of belonging. Des, however, is having a hard time adjusting to country life and he’s dissatisfied with work, directing movies for a production company. Everyone wonders when he'll make another independent film, but now that he has a family to support and a house to pay for, it's hard to walk away from a steady paycheck.

Married life with an active toddler is demanding enough: there are the squabbles over domestic arrangements, a compromised sex life, interfering in-laws, and the challenge of juggling two careers to test their love; all the usual pitfalls of domestic bliss. But something else is going on. Amanda starts to wonder what happened to the man she fell in love with as her husband becomes gloomy and self-destructive.

Enter a handsome, talented photographer, Eamon Kelly, who reminds her of Des when they first met. He doesn't try to hide his attraction to her. She is titillated though fearful of his attentions. She would like to avoid him all together, only now she has to work closely with him on an exhibition. Now things are starting to disappear again, this time from her office.

On the home front, tensions rise. Faced with the growing disconnect in her marriage, Amanda makes a drastic choice that will either bring them together or tear them farther apart.
