I. Levator labil superlorls et alae nasl. (fig. 1 A.) Dieser platte dunne Muskel liegt an der Seitenflache des Gesichts vom Stirn und Nasenbein bis zur Oberlippe. Er entspringt vom Stirn und Nasenbein, nahe der Medianlinie aus der Galea apo neurotica, geht schrag vor und abwarts (oro-ventral), spaltet sich in zwei Schenkel, welche den M. Pyramidalis nasi einschliesseu und zum Teil mit ihm verschmelzen, und endet mit dem tieferen dorsalen Schenkel (2) nahe dem ausseren Nasenloehe am M. Orbicularis oris und mit dem oberflachlichen ventralen Schenkel (3) am Kreismuskel der Lippen und am M. Buccalis.
