Nineteen year old Lyam Collins has had a tough life. Orphaned and poor, he has no chance of riches or ascending the social ladder. Or at least he didn’t until he agreed to become the property of wealthy bachelor Julian Sackville.

Lord Sackville demands complete submission, and punishes infractions severely. But he also promises riches should his desires be fulfilled.

When Lord Sackville decides to take Lyam out for the evening, his charge isn’t expecting to be taken to one of the least salubrious public houses in the city. And he’s certainly not expecting to see men cavorting with other men in public.

As he and his master watch, and then take part, in the evening’s activities, Lyam knows that he’s being tested. What he doesn’t know is that Lord Sackville has just one more trick up his sleeve.

Only complete control will allow Lyam to pass his tests. And only by passing Lord Sackville’s tests can he gain his wealth. Lyam needs to prove himself, or risk being restrained and punished. Does he really have what it takes to be his master’s servant?
