When my unbelievably stupid fiance cheats on me right before our wedding, I can’t bear to stick around and explain why the wedding is off! My luck in love is just about as extensive as my experience in it…as in…it doesn’t exist! So, I talked a family friend into letting me stay at his cabin in Emerald Ridge for a while, at least until the dust settles. We used to vacation there when I was a kid and I always found it to be peaceful and restorative. And I need both right now.
