I am retired from teaching history and Bible at Hesston College. Currently, I am researching and writing a book on the Amish around Arthur IL
I also speak for and about my son Michael J. Sharp, peacebuilder and a United Nations Expert on armed groups. On March 12, 2017, while traveling to meet leaders of a new militia group, he and a colleague Zaida Catalan were ambushed and murdered in the DR Congo.
I also teach a Road Scholar course on the Amish and lead tours to Central Asia, Poland, Ukraine, and Western Europe.
Hesston KS is still home.
