First things first: yes I was alive when the original Star Wars came out and yes I was still in school. Through the years, Science Fiction always held a special place in my life. I loved escaping into outer space with classics by Jimmy Guieu, Jules Verne, Frank Herbert and Arthur C. Clarke. I also read tons of European comics, from Tintin to Valerian and watched televised SF, shows like Star Trek, of course, Space 1999, Ultraman and all those filmed in “Supermarionation“. I would basically watch anything that fired my imagination.

These space missions, real or otherwise, ultimately led me to take Film Studies and English Literature at Montreal’s Concordia University. Years went by, life’s maelstrom turned me inside and out and I never got the chance to create my own stories... until now.
