Sophia an author of hopeful adventure stories of eco-bravery, queer connection and metaphysical mischief based in Vancouver, Canada. She keeps a messy garden and loves all four of her callings: writing, composing and performing music, teaching, and helping businesses and non-profits do good things better.

Sophia is an expert about some of the subjects she writes about – ecological sustainability, queer relationships, and magic. She is sadly not yet an expert on time travel or goats, but studied physics for a time at UBC on a math and physics scholarship. She has a web development and marketing company in Vancouver Canada.

Sophia is a singer songwriter and the lead singer in the dyke country band, Bushy Park. She co-founded a Vancouver-based workers’ coop that has been installing solar panels since 2004.

She has been in a number (let’s just not say how many) of queer relationships over the past 35 years and has a daunting amount of friendly exes who attend her birthday parties.

As a Wiccan priestess, she has been studying and teaching energy magic for 30 years. She fixes her own plumbing and competes for couch space with a large tomcat in Vancouver Canada.
