Toby considers himself a contemplative with deep monastic undertones. He is a pastor with a gift of preaching and teaching in simple ways that people understand.

A retired US Army Chaplain, Clinical Pastor, former professor of Biblical studies, and a pastor with over twenty years of experience, Toby loves to help others grow in their faith through discipleship that produces life-changing results. His key theme is discipleship.

When he is not preaching, teaching, or writing, he is passionate about health, fitness, and the outdoors.

He has no plans of retiring from following Jesus - ever!
