Taryn is an experienced writer, English teacher, theologian, and coffee junkie who lives in New Zealand with her husband and four children.
Taryn is a New Zealand writer whose publication record includes several non-fiction books, tertiary college courses, website content, and more than 400 feature articles, reviews, and columns published in newspapers, websites, and magazines.
A Rory Gilmore-inspired blue-stocking, Taryn has earned several diploma’s and degrees, and is currently completing a PhD program. She works part-time as a college tutor, and has won awards for her post-graduate research and Māori leadership.
She is a trained and registered secondary teacher, specialising in English, History, and Religious Studies.
When Taryn is not writing, studying, or with her kids, she can be found reading books, buying books, or watching Gilmore Girls.
