Kate, a fifth-generation Texan, was born and raised in Dallas. She graduated from Northwestern University and the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.

Kate now lives in Florida with her husband and three children. Her debut novel, Hello, Goodbye, was released on August 2, 2022. The highly anticipated sequel, Don't Let Me Down, comes out on October 22, 2024.
