K. Anderson is the author of the "In The Shadow of Fate" trilogy. They write sci-fi and fantasy books with LGBTQ themes. Anderson grew up in Beulah, CO, with the San Isabel National Forest as their backyard and stage for their stories long before they were able to put pen to paper, some of which continue to inspire their works today.
