Marlise Wabun Wind, M.S., is the author of eleven nonfiction books, with over two million copies in print worldwide in many languages. She has written about allopathic and complementary medicine, living in harmony with the earth, visionary people and experiences, community, and the environment. In the course of her career, Marlise has directed two non-profit educational organizations, founded a small publishing company, edited a magazine, and worked as both a literary agent and a publishing consultant. She spent close to twenty years in the western United States, living and working with indigenous people from a variety of traditions. She has lectured at schools, conferences, and retreat centers, both in the United States and in Europe, about her experiences.

Marlise holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in international communications from George Washington University. She is a lifelong student of multicultural approaches to healing, issues concerning women and children, relationships, and comparative religions in their historical perspectives. She helped to establish and run a farm/conference center, and in doing so, learned about gardening, herbology, and other earth-oriented topics. She also helped develop curricula for the conference center and acted as both a teacher and ceremonial leader.

While searching for an alternative to the surgical treatments for an arthritic ankle, Marlise was referred to Dr. Brian Shiple, from whom she learned about regenerative injection treatment (RIT) and underwent successful treatment. Her positive experience led her to collaborate with Dr. Shiple on Regenerative Healing For Life. She is now an advocate for RIT and related non-invasive techniques and complementary treatments.

Marlise is currently working on several other projects, including a novel and a second spiritual adventure memoir. She and her husband, a psychiatrist, have an adult daughter who is an artist.
