Dr. Rajani Katta is a nationally recognized expert in dermatology and allergic contact dermatitis. Her advice on skin care and diet has been published in many magazines and newspapers, including the Oprah Magazine, Prevention, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Men's Health, and the Dr. Oz magazine. She has been interviewed as a dermatology expert on the ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC networks, as well as NPR and multiple radio stations. She has also authored multiple articles for medical journals on diet and dermatology.
Dr. Katta is the author of more than 70 scientific articles and chapters, and is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She currently serves on the Volunteer Clinical Faculty of the Baylor College of Medicine and the McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Houston.

In addition, Dr. Katta is an award-winning educator and the author of 6 well-regarded books on medical student success. She served as Professor of Dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine for over 17 years, during which time she oversaw the dermatology basic science education of over 2500 medical students. She is deeply committed to patient education, and has served on the Board of the Directors of the American Contact Dermatitis Society as well as the Program Committee of the Health Museum.
