Linda is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and taught children with learning disabilities for five years before assuming responsibilities at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. She has completed the Women's Certificate Program at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, serves as a Lifeway Trainer for Women's Ministry, and is a contributor to the book Transformed Lives: Taking Women's Ministry to the Next Level. She is the mother of four young adults and grandmother to five granddaughters. Her husband, Gary, is the Vice President of KVNE and KGLY Radio stations in Tyler. Linda authored A Little Book About Knowing A Big God for Children, Women at the Cross, and Connecting Women: A Relational Guide for Women in Leadership (Baker House).
