Dr. Thaier Alhusain is a Syrian medical doctor, writer, and humanitarian known for his frontline work during the Syrian conflict and beyond. He holds a Master’s degree in International Health from University College London and has collaborated with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in crisis-affected regions. Based in the UK, he continues to practise medicine while advocating for refugee health and human rights.
He is the founder of *6abibak*, one of the most influential Arabic-language medical platforms, dedicated to accessible, evidence-based health education. His debut novel, *The Syrian Dandelion*, is a powerful literary work inspired by true events, exploring memory, exile, and the moral dilemmas faced in times of war.
A regular speaker on global health and storytelling, Dr. Alhusain uses both his medical expertise and lived experience to bridge the gap between science and human narrative.
