Emma Boling's love of history began with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree and developed over the years into a passion for Renaissance history in Europe. Her first book in the historical fiction genre, follows years of extensive research into the power of women in the court of Renaissance France, and how effectively they manipulated and ruled in a man’s world.
Emma’s accessible writing style features an ability to weave powerful stories from the complexities of history using extensive research. Her previous novel Riding High was published by Penguin Group in the suspense/crime fiction genre.
Emma is one of the new generation of authors who understands the implications of digital disruption and the rapidly changing face of the publishing industry. She is also the Creative Adviser with Beneath the Ink; a Colorado based Software Company who have developed an innovative enhanced eBook platform providing an enriched reader experience without taking them away from the page.
Emma lives between city and country homes in Melbourne, Australia, and travels extensively in Europe.
