Candice Clark is an avid romance reader-turned-writer who lives in South Carolina with her man-child husband and small daughter, who her mother always warned would be just like her. She was right.

In addition to writing, she works full-time, owns an Etsy bakery, and has a thousand other hobbies that allow her to complain about how stressed out and stretched thin she is.

She’s a down-to-earth, middle-aged woman who feels 97 most days and suffers from chronic pain and massive anxiety. She hopes to use these challenges to write relatable characters with relatable personalities in an effort to help improve the real-life perception of mental health struggles.

Beginning her reading journey as an early teen with titan authors like Nora Roberts and Johanna Lindsey, she is excited about combining classic writing styles and plotting with the more edgy subject matter commonly found in today’s Indie Author Community.
