Gerald L. Guy grew up in rural Ohio and was able to turn his love of sports and writing into a sports writing career at The Tribune Chronicle in Warren OH. He eventually became editor of his hometown newspaper, and held editorships in Valdosta GA and Manitowoc WI before retiring in 2004. He now resides in Palm Coast, FL with his wife, Joanne. When he is not writing novels and short stories, he can be found hiking the scenic trails of Flagler County.
