Tim Wilbur was born in Maine to two deaf parents in an abusive home. He became a foster child at the age of sixteen and was adopted by an amazing family that showed him an entirely new side to life. In the following years, he struggled with putting down his past. He spent his time surviving rather than thriving.
Then he met his wife, Alicia. She was the catalyst that made him want more for himself. As cliché as it is, she made him want to be better—some of us need that spark. His life is more complete than it has ever been, and still he finds that he wants more.
Writing has been an unrealized childhood dream and he’s finally taking steps to manifest that goal. Some of us are late bloomers, and some of us give up on blooming at all. He thought he was in the latter category, but it turns out he’s not dead yet, and neither is the dream.
