Hi, I’m Andrea Mackay—a lifelong lover of moose, mountains, and make-believe. I write and illustrate children’s books that spark curiosity, laughter, and a love for the outdoors. My first book, Momma Moose and Her Woodland Wanderers, grew from my passion for helping kids (and grown-ups!) slow down, listen, and notice the wonders of nature.

When I’m not creating cozy stories, I’m exploring trails with my family, or dreaming up my next creative idea.
