I am an author, editor, and curator of stories, and I am honored to coach other writers to pen and publish their work. A lifelong educator and artist, I am a proud parent and "grand-partner." I now live in Canada and am a dual citizen.

Inspired by my father’s end of life, I published a short memoir about my family’s loss and my personal response to his death and dying. "Daddy, this is it. Being-with My Dying Dad" launched a true journey of connection and transformation, as I reach out to share it with those who assist the dying and bereaved.

Since my book's publication, I received numerous end-of-life perspective stories from others, some of which were published in 2017 in a book called "Journey's End: Death, Dying and the End of Life," coauthored with Victoria Brewster, MSW.

Writing and publishing in this heart-led direction, I hope to contribute to a cultural shift in how we prepare for and support others in the final chapter of life.

I enjoy editing others' legacy writing, fiction and nonfiction works; I feel privileged to help writers succeed.

After growing up in rural Oklahoma, I lived in Indiana, Mexico, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Toronto, Ontario. I enjoyed a variety of career foci in the sciences, education, sales and marketing, copy writing and editing. I was a creative caterer Once Upon a Time and my studio art, primarily landscapes, hangs in novel locations around the world.

"Passionate pursuit of the art of communication - through words, stories and overarching purpose - is bliss."
